Smart Moves Pediatrics Pc is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. The OT will meet with multiple patients daily, assess needs, and develop customized, comprehensive therapy plans. Collaboration with the patient’s team is essential to optimize service delivery and outcomes.

The ideal candidate demonstrates compassion, excellent communication, and strong interpersonal skills, and can manage multiple cases with a positive, patient-centered approach in a pediatric setting.

Formación

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to stay compassionate and positive with patients.
• Licensed to practice occupational therapy in the state.

Responsabilidades

• Meet with patients from diverse backgrounds and discuss health concerns and therapy needs.

Job Summary

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team! As an Occupational Therapist, you will be meeting with several patients in a day, discussing their treatment needs and ultimate goals, and crafting customized, comprehensive therapy plans for them. You will also work closely with members of their team to collaborate and devise the optimal service plan. The ideal candidate has a compassionate style of care, has strong communication and interpersonal skills, and is comfortable handling multiple different cases at a time.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients from many different backgrounds and compassionately discuss their health concerns and therapy needs
• Conduct evaluations to determine a starting point for each patient
• Create a therapy plan specific to each patient that will help them meet their goals
• Work closely with other members of each patient’s team to provide adequate carryover
• Maintain excellent records of patient therapy and progress

Qualifications

• Must hold the required state license for occupational therapy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• The ability to stay positive and compassionate over a long period of time with patients
