Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR/First Aid certification current.
• Current, valid driver license.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• English language proficiency at an intermediate level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses with pediatric care.
• Support activities of daily living (personal care, mobility, meals, comfort).
• Observe children closely and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean, developmentally supportive environment.
• Engage children in activities based on individual needs.
• Provide respectful support to children and families.
• Collaborate with nursing, respiratory therapy, rehabilitation and education teams.
• Follow care plans, infection-control practices and documentation requirements.
