Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a bilingual Advanced Practice Provider to join our primary care team at the St. Francis location in Wilmington, Delaware. Open to qualified Physician Assistants and Pediatric Nurse Practitioners dedicated to family-centered care.

Our team delivers preventive care, whole-child wellness, and coordinated care across a diverse community, with a focus on cultures and languages to support patients and families effectively.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Delaware RN and APRN licensure with CSR and Delaware DEA.
• PA-C with Delaware license or compact state; NCCPA certification.
• Delaware prescriptive authority and DEA license; BLS required.
• Three years of related clinical experience; pediatric focus preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric primary care for infants to adolescents with the care team.
• Support preventive care, wellness visits, immunizations, acute and chronic care needs.
• Deliver culturally responsive care and communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking families.
• Partner with families to promote whole-child wellness and preventive care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care team for coordinated, high-quality care.

This position is open to qualified Physician Assistants and Pediatric Nurse Practitioners who are passionate about providing high-quality, family-centered care and supporting the health and well-being of children in a diverse community.

Our Nemours primary care practices provide a kid-friendly, family-centered pediatric primary care experience for families. With convenient locations throughout the region, we deliver quality, professional primary care services with a special focus on preventive care, whole-child wellness and building trusted relationships with patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric primary care services for infants, children and adolescents in collaboration with the physician and care team.
• Support preventive care, routine wellness visits, immunizations, acute care needs and chronic condition management.
• Deliver culturally responsive care and communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients and families.
• Partner with families to promote whole-child wellness, healthy development and ongoing preventive care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other care team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• PNP- Active unrestricted Delaware or compact state RN and APRN licensure, Delaware prescriptive authority (CSR), Delaware DEA with a Delaware address, and a BLS from the American Heart Association.
• PA-C- Active unrestriced Delaware Physician Assistance license or compact state, National Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants; DE Prescriptive Authority; DE Federal DEA; BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Three years of related clinical experience required
• Excellent written, phone, and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Experience in pediatric primary care preferred.
• Strong commitment to family-centered care, team-based collaboration and serving diverse communities.
