Job summary

Alliance Medical Center seeks a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (full and/or part time) to provide comprehensive primary pediatrics for birth through young adulthood at an established community clinic in California. The role emphasizes well-child care, preventive services, and chronic disease management in a patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of PNP clinical experience, CA RN/NP licenses with DEA and CPR, and National Certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited PNP specialty program.
• 3+ years of PNP clinical experience.
• Current California RN and Nurse Practitioner license including DEA license and CPR.
• National Certification as a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to children from birth through young adulthood with primary pediatric care focus.
• Manage well-child care and prevention/management of common pediatric illnesses and chronic conditions.
• Perform injections, immunizations, suture removal, wound care, and infection management.
• Develop and implement patient management plans and maintain progress notes.

Reputable Community Healthcare Clinic is hiring a full and/or part time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner!

What you will do at AMC:

• Provide care to children from birth through young adult with an in-depth knowledge and experience in pediatric primary health care including well child care and prevention/management of common pediatric acute illnesses and chronic conditions.
• Meets the specialized healthcare needs of individuals from birth through young adulthood, including physical, psychological, and social concerns of children in the areas of health maintenance and promotion, and assessment and management of disease processes.
• Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suture removal and would care, and managing infection.
• Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.
• Assists in medical chart review for patient follow-up and quality assurance.
• Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
• Maintains adequate medical records on all patients, including follow-up referrals, and meet on a regular basis with the physician to go over charting and/or medical care provided.
• Adheres to health center standards for productivity as defined by the Chief Medical Officer and senior management.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Alliance Medical Center has the following qualifications and skills:
