Job summary

Mt. Spokane Pediatrics in Spokane, WA is seeking a part-time or full-time nurse practitioner to provide compassionate, evidence-based pediatric primary care in an outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate will care for patients from 0 to 21 years old, including well-child visits, sick visits, chronic care, and behavioral evaluations, and work with a dynamic, growing team. The role includes health maintenance, immunizations, screenings, diagnosis and treatment, family teaching, on-call coverage,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Health maintenance care, including well-child exams and childhood immunizations
• Routine developmental screenings
• Diagnosis and treatment of common childhood illnesses
• Teaching and counseling of children and their families on issues related to health
• Caring for children who have acute, chronic, and critical illnesses
• Conducting advanced physical assessments
• Prescribing appropriate treatment, including medications
• Ordering and interpreting lab and diagnostic test results
• Completing documentation for medical records, updating patient medical chart by posting examination and test results, diagnosis, medications, and treatment in written/computerized manner
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members through making appropriate referrals and consults
• Sharing on-call duty with other providers

Private pediatric office seeking a part-time or full-time nurse practitioner in an outpatient setting. Ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to children and their families and excited to be part of an energetic, growing team. Our clinic is committed to partnering with parents to provide the resources needed to raise healthy children. The practitioners at our clinic see patients from 0-21 years of age, giving you the opportunity to provide well care, sick visits, chronic care, and behavioral evaluations. Located in the eastern Washington community of Spokane with access nearby to beautiful lakes, mountains, hiking, and skiing.

As a nurse practitioner in pediatric primary care, providers at Mt. Spokane Pediatrics will carry out:

• Health maintenance care, including well-child exams and childhood immunizations
• Routine developmental screenings
• Diagnosis and treatment of common childhood illnesses
• Teaching and counseling of children and their families on issues related to health

Details

• Call is shared between providers
• 1-2 years of pediatric experience preferred, but will consider the right new grad
• Hourly wage (part-time), salary (full-time), DOE + production bonuses
• Part-time or full-time (week days, extended hours, + occasional weekends)
• Our office has two locations Valley and North.
• Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Additionally we have recently opened Spokane Pediatric Urgent Care, which allows for some weekend and evening shift coverage if desired (optional).
