Job summary

Everstand is seeking a Registered Nurse to develop and monitor a Health Suite serving youth in a residential/school setting in Maryland. This part-time, in-person role involves medication administration, emergency triage, care coordination, staff training, and health education for youth.

The ideal candidate holds a nursing diploma/degree, an active Maryland RN license, and at least 2 years of pediatric nursing experience, preferably in related settings, with HIPAA-conscious care and strong

Qualifications

Diploma, Associates, or Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
Possession of an active Registered Nurse license without disciplinary infractions by Maryland Board of Nursing
Two (2) years of nursing experience preferably in a pediatric office, group home setting, and/or residential treatment center.

Responsibilities

Medication management including transcription, administration, storage, refills, and provider orders.
Ongoing monitoring of youths’ wellness visits and communication with primary care providers.
HIPAA compliance and confidential file maintenance.
Infection control and disposal of contaminated waste.
Oversight related to restraints and admission of patients for care.
