Responsibilities

• Selects, schedules, assigns, and evaluates staff; adjusts hours as necessary.
• Orients new staff and ensures training needs are met.
• Coordinates unit activities and work assignments of staff.
• Monitors patient care, staff relations, and service efficiency.
• Maintains patient records and enforces physician orders.
• Participates in budget development and department committees.
