BrightStar Care of Salt Lake City is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one pediatric home care for a 13-year-old boy with complex medical needs in Orem, Utah. The role focuses on respiratory support, enteral feedings, and daily living assistance.

You will work on ventilator and BiPAP management, suctioning, nebulizers, and PROM under supervision. The position offers weekly pay, benefits for eligible staff, and career advancement opportunities within BrightStar Care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year pediatric nursing experience.
• Ventilator management, BiPAP, and respiratory care required.
• Utah RN license in good standing.
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Background check and drug test pass required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide enteral feedings and medication administration.
• Manage ventilator and BiPAP needs at home.
• Suctioning, nebulizers, and prescribed treatments.
• PROM and mobility assistance; support daily care.
• Engage the child with play and comforting activities.

Are you a compassionate Registered Nurse with pediatric experience who is passionate about providing specialized, one-on-one care? BrightStar Care is seeking a dedicated RN to care for a 13-year-old boy with complex medical needs in the comfort of his home. This is an opportunity to provide personalized nursing care, support his daily needs, and make a meaningful difference in his quality of life.

Seeking nurses to care for sweet, bedbound, school age, special needs child. Nursing cares include enteral feedings, BiPAP management, suctioning, nebulizers, treatments, PROM, etc. Creative play, and singing appreciated. Make a huge difference in the life of a child and his family!

Meet Your Future Client

Our client is a 13-year-old boy with special healthcare needs who is nonverbal, has limited mobility, and is bedbound. He is ventilator-dependent but does not have a tracheostomy. We are looking for a skilled, patient, and attentive pediatric nurse who is comfortable providing respiratory support and specialized care to help him remain safe and comfortable at home.

Location: Orem, Utah

Available Shifts:

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday | 10:00 AM-6:00 PM

Your Role as an RN:

• Enteral feedings
• Ventilator and BiPAP management
• Suctioning and nebulizer treatments
• Medication administration and prescribed treatments
• Passive range of motion (PROM) exercises
• Mobility assistance and repositioning
• Support with daily care, comfort, and overall well-being

Qualifications and Requirements:

• At Least 1 Year Of Pediatric Nursing Experience Required
• Experience with ventilator management, BiPAP, and respiratory care
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Utah
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications, as required for the position
• Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
