Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a Non‑Tenure Track Assistant Teaching Professor for the College of Nursing at the University of Missouri – St. Louis. This role focuses on teaching, clinical education, and service, requiring expertise as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Duties include developing nursing programs and overseeing clinical experiences.

Candidates must have a Doctoral degree in nursing, RN and APRN licensure in Missouri, and preferably two years of experience in pediatric nursing.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner; consideration may be given to APRN’s with less than 2 years of experience that have 10+ years of RN experience in the pediatric setting.
• Experience with instructional media and technology.
• Experience with graduate-level education.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the ongoing development, implementation, evaluation, and enhancement of nursing academic programs.
• Teach graduate and undergraduate nursing courses as assigned.
• Collaborate with clinical agencies in arranging student clinical experiences.
