Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide skilled speech and swallow therapy for pediatric patients, including NICU and acute care cases.

The role is PRN, with a multidisciplinary team and a focus on family education and discharge planning. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, collaborating with families and other clinicians, supervising interns, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology is required.
• ASHA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes treatment plan and provides speech therapy to patients.
• Educates and collaborates with patients and families; coordinates with health care providers.
• Delegates to assistants and students with appropriate supervision.
• Completes documentation per departmental policies.
• Provides assessment, reassessment, and consultations for Speech Services.
