Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME residency in Neurological Surgery with fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Neurosurgery.
• Active Nevada medical license or ability to obtain one.
• BLS certification and DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric neurosurgery clinical and surgical care on campus.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, nursing, APPs, and leadership for program growth.
• Participate in clinical pathways, recruitment, and development of Nevada's pediatric neurosurgery services.
• Contribute to research, teaching, and potential adjunct faculty activities.

You’ll collaborate with an established APP , supported by c ollegial staff and leadership .All of your c linic , s urg ical and call responsibilities will be conveniently located on one hospital campus.Sustainable call rotation , with additional compensation for supplemental coverage.You’ll be eligible for an adjunct faculty appointment with the University of Utah Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery, consistently rec ognized as a top pediatric neurosurgical program.While not required , opportunity for leadership and research roles will exist over time .Intermountain Health is investing in Nevada's future with a new 200-bed Children's Hospital that will become the region's destination for complex pediatric care.
