Job summary
Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC seeks a Neurostimulation Technician to support clinical and research tasks in the Neurosciences and Behavioral Medicine Center of Excellence. You will assist with neuromodulation, neurostimulation, and electrophysiology, along with data entry for both clinical and research procedures.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a health-related field, 1–2 years of related experience preferred, and CPR certification on hire.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in neuroscience, psychology, nursing or related field.
- 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
- CPR certification required on hire.
Responsibilities
- Perform TMS testing and operate neuromodulation equipment according to physician guidance.
- Enter clinical/research data accurately and maintain registries/databases.
- Review patient history, document current medications and alerts; liaise with families.
- Ensure safety, proper documentation, and timely communication within the team.
- Assist with regulatory documents and study coordination as needed.
