Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, seeks a senior program leader to drive pediatric neuroscience service line strategy, development, and operations in collaboration with WashU Medicine and community partners.

Reporting to the executive director, you will oversee program development, budgeting, staffing, and performance improvement while coordinating with BJC leaders, hospital administration, and physician leadership to achieve strategic goals and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Business/Healthcare Administration or related field.
• <2 years of experience in a health system leadership or program-management role.
• Certifications/licensure as applicable to healthcare administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department/program management across geographic locations, aligning with executive leadership.
• Develop and manage departmental staffing, revenue and expense budgets; adapt to changing business needs.
• Lead initiatives and implement evidence-based practices; collaborate with hospital and physician leaders to advance goals.
• Foster alliances with peer institutions and stakeholders to improve patient care and operational performance.
• Develop improvement programs using data analytics and lean methods to impact people, service, growth, quality and margin.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
