The Psychology Division within the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital invites applications for a clinician-educator neuropsychology faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank on our Houston Medical Center Campus. Clinical emphasis is flexible, with preference for Neurology and Epilepsy experience.
The neuropsychologist will conduct pediatric evaluations, provide consultations, and teach/supervise fellows in our APA-accredited
Qualifications
- Doctorate in clinical, counseling, or school psychology with neuropsychology specialization.
- Completed an APA-accredited psychology internship.
- Completed a pediatric neuropsychology postdoctoral fellowship following APA Division 40 guidelines.
- Licensed or license-eligible to practice psychology in Texas.
- ABCN board certification or eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Provide targeted and comprehensive pediatric neuropsychological evaluations.
- Offer consultations and limited inpatient evaluations as needed.
- Teach and supervise neuropsychology post-doctoral fellows and interns.
- Collaborate with subspecialty medical teams across neurology, epilepsy, and other services.
