Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a Pediatric Neurologist to serve as Medical Director of the Pediatric Neurology Program, leading clinical care and program development in northern New Jersey.

This role emphasizes EEG interpretation, collaboration with PM&R and Developmental Pediatrics, and outreach to community groups, schools, and families, with potential Mount Sinai academic appointments based on achievement.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree required.
• Board certified in Pediatric Neurology required.
• Existing or eligibility for New Jersey Medical License, DEA, and CDS.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership as Medical Director of the Pediatric Neurology Program.
• Lead clinical expertise at Valley Hospital and Kireker Center for Child Development (KCCD).
• Engage in outreach to schools, child care programs, and community groups.
• Participate in Department of Pediatrics activities and hospital committees; academic appointments possible.
