Aya Locums is seeking a locum Neurology Pediatric physician in Toledo, OH. This assignment starts 12-01-26 and runs for 26 weeks. The role involves standard 5x8 schedule with on-call coverage in a children’s hospital setting.

Responsibilities include evaluating and managing pediatric neurology patients, ordering and interpreting EEGs/EMGs, performing lumbar punctures, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team. Ohio license and ABPN board certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency training program in neurology (ACGME or AOA)
• Fellowship in neurology subspecialty may be required.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients with neurological disorders, including epilepsy, stroke, neurodegenerative diseases and multiple sclerosis.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as EEGs, EMGs and lumbar punctures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide emergency care and manage critical situations effectively.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
