Job summary

Henry Ford St. John Children’s Hospital in Detroit is seeking a full-time Pediatric Neurologist to join the Pediatric Subspecialty Division.

The position offers about 90% clinical time and 10% teaching with residents and medical students, involving outpatient consultations, longitudinal neurology care, and rotating inpatient coverage. A collaborative, multidisciplinary team supports care; opportunities for clinical research and academic scholarship are available with faculty appointment through

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency and Pediatric Neurology Fellowship program.
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Neurology.
• Teaching residents and medical students is highly desirable.
• Interest or experience in clinical research, QI projects, or subspecialty program development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient consultations and longitudinal neurology care.
• Share inpatient neurology consult coverage on a rotating basis.
• Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team supporting pediatric patients.
• Outpatient clinic open Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

This is anemployed positionconsisting of approximately90% dedicated clinical timeand10% teaching and academic timewithPediatric Residents and Medical Students.

The position includes a mix ofoutpatient consultations and longitudinal neurologycareas well asshared inpatient consult coverageon a rotational basis. The division manages a wide range of neurologicconditions.

You will join acollaborative, multidisciplinary teamconsisting of Pediatric Neurologist, and Pediatric Nurses, all supporting the comprehensive care of pediatric patients. Theoutpatient clinic is open Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.
