Job summary

Baylor College of Medicine, in partnership with Texas Children's Hospital, seeks a board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Nephrologist to join the Renal Division at the North Austin Campus. Academic rank and compensation will be commensurate with experience.

The role involves clinic and academic responsibilities, mentorship of fellows and residents, and leadership in quality improvement and outreach within the BCM/TCH network.

Qualifications

• MD degree and rarified residency training in pediatrics.
• Fellowship in pediatric nephrology required or eligible for certification.
• Licensed or eligible for Texas medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely, effective nephrology care at multiple Texas Children's Hospital locations.
• Provide clinical leadership to medical and nursing staff.
• Mentor renal fellows, residents and medical students.
• Promote evidence-based medicine and participate in quality improvement.
