Job description

Pediatric Nephrologist

Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a Pediatric Nephrologist to join our growing team of three physicians in the Delaware Valley. This position offers inpatient pediatric care in a free‑standing state‑of‑the‑art Children’s Hospital on the main campus in Wilmington, Delaware, and a private‑practice style outpatient clinic in Wilmington and Abington, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will participate in a 1:4 call schedule, precept residents and medical students, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pediatric rheumatologists, urologists, interventional radiologists, and a kidney transplant program.

The role includes management of acute and chronic kidney disease, plasmapheresis services, renal replacement therapies (CRRT, PD, and HD), dialysis, and kidney transplantation. Clinical programs such as ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, telemedicine nephrology, William’s syndrome, sickle cell disease, and kidney stone clinics provide additional practice areas. Research and teaching opportunities are available through the NCH residency program and academic appointments with Sidney Kimmel Medical College.
