Pediatric & Neonatal Transport EMT/EVO- OKC Region

Position Overview

We are seeking a Pediatric & Neonatal Critical Care Transport EMT in the Oklahoma City region. This role involves operating neonatal and pediatric critical care ambulances, providing transport services for critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients, and assisting the transport team as needed. The position requires 12-hour day and/or night shifts, including weekends and holidays. Training and certification will be provided. Candidates must have at least 1 year of EMT experience, demonstrate teamwork, and have excellent references.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide BASIC Life Support, including medical evaluation, treatment, and stabilization of critically ill or injured patients.
• Respond to emergency rescue situations involving potential loss of life or bodily injury.
• Maintain control and manage patient care at emergency scenes.
• Assist in training and instruct less experienced personnel.

Additional Duties

• Follow standard operating procedures as developed and directed by the company.
• Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and living quarters.
• Keep records of vehicles, supplies, training, and daily activities.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain EMT licensure with at least 1 year of experience.
• CPR certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Good knowledge of Oklahoma's geography and emergency equipment.
• Ability to perform technical medical skills accurately.
• Ability to handle emotional and medical emergencies professionally.
• Capable of mechanical work related to rescue and medical equipment.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge in emergency medicine, pediatrics, and neonatal care through ongoing education.

Additional Requirements

• Operate emergency vehicles and medical equipment, and assist injured persons in various terrains and situations.
• Wear issued uniforms and carry communication devices at all times.
• Physical ability to assess and assist injured persons, including carrying them to transportation and attending to their needs.
