Job summary

Children's Minnesota is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanning equipment, ensure MRI safety, and prepare patients for scans. You will produce images for Radiologists, orient patients and families, and maintain image quality throughout the study.

The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and a high school diploma; an AA+ degree in a related science is preferred, with prior radiology experience a plus. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• AA+ degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or medical laboratory technology (preferred).
• ARRT certification as a radiologic technologist (required).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Prior radiology experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanning equipment and ensure MRI safety in the scan room.
• Orient patients and families to the scan procedure and prepare the patient for the study.
• Assist Radiologists by producing and presenting high-quality images.

Education

ARRT certification as a radiologic technologist

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

High school diploma or equivalent
