Job summary

Join Morrison Healthcare at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, VA as a Metabolic/Genetics Registered Dietitian. This level one trauma center supports inpatient and outpatient pediatric nutrition, with collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Two experienced metabolic RDs will guide you as you provide medical nutrition therapy for metabolic conditions from birth to adulthood, and you will work with the genetics team for intervention, education and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible.
• Experience in metabolic/nutrition therapy for pediatric and adult patients.
• Strong collaboration with genetics medical team.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy to patients with inborn errors of metabolism from birth through adulthood.
• Work closely with genetics medical team for intervention, education and follow-up.
• Support inpatient and outpatient nutrition care for metabolic patients.
