Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• One year of pediatric healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with children with behavioral dysregulation, autism, or developmental delays is preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to children and adolescents with behavioral challenges or a mental health diagnosis according to the treatment plan.
• Assist with data collection on patient physical, psychological, or safety status.
• Assist in establishing daily therapeutic goals and participate in therapeutic groups as needed.
• Monitor department milieu to identify hazards and ensure patient safety; assist with de-escalation or behavioral management; may float to support other mental health patients.
