Mercy Clinic Fenton Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support our growing pediatric practice. You will partner with providers, patients, and families to deliver high-quality care while ensuring a positive experience for children and caregivers.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting health information, assisting with exams, basic tests, and administrative tasks. Proficiency with EHRs and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Mercy's MA Clinic Academy training must be completed after hire.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room pediatric patients and families.
• Document vital signs and medical history.
• Assist with examinations and procedures as needed.
• Perform basic diagnostic tests per competencies.
• Support scheduling, referrals, and follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Keep exam rooms clean and stocked.
