Job summary

Children's Hospital Colorado seeks a Medical Assistant to support multiple pediatric clinics in Highlands Ranch and SE Aurora Southlands. You will room patients, take vitals, document visits, and help manage clinic flow. Open Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; benefits eligible.

New graduates are welcome; Certified Medical Assistants are preferred. The MA provides clinical support, assists care providers, and contributes to safe, efficient patient care in a collaborative pediatric environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Certified Medical Assistants are preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical history.
• Support clinic flow and perform general office tasks.
• Preceptor for new staff: orientation, education, validation, progress checks.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with regulations and policies.
• Assist in examinations, prepare lab specimens, and perform basic testing.
• Balance workloads and coordinate patient flow with providers.
