Job summary

Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support to patients and assist care providers with exams and procedures.

The MA will prepare patients, record vital signs, perform basic testing including phlebotomy, and help manage clinic flow across sites. Cross-training to another primary care clinic and participation in walk-in flu clinic are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for visits and assists healthcare providers during examinations.
• Records vitals, medical history and treatment details; reports concerns to providers.
• Performs basic tests and phlebotomy; handles specimen processing.
• Maintains clinic flow and supports patient communication and education.
