Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant for the Fairfield Primary Care (FPC) department in Fairfield Outpatient. The role supports patient care with clinical and administrative tasks under supervision, preparing patients, and collaborating with clinicians to deliver family-centered care.

Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, managing records, and ensuring compliance with policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assisting program or completion of a formal medical services training program (US armed forces) or 1 year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent technical and clinical services and flex daily needs per CCHMC policy and department needs.
• Assist care providers with procedures and physical exams; prepare patients for examination and treatment.
• Provide family-centered, culturally competent care and partner with families in decision making.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation per department policy.
• May manage specimens and understand routine testing processes; communicate lab results as delegated.

Education
