Job summary

CHOC Children's in Irvine, CA seeks a Medical Assistant I to support our Primary Care office at the Center for Advanced Care. This is a full-time benefitted role performing routine technical services under physician supervision, spanning back and front office duties.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma/GED and MA training; BLS certification required. Multitasking in a fast-paced environment with teamwork expected; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Required: Previous work experience or externship in a healthcare setting.
• Required: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. Graduate of a vocational school having completed requirements for MA.
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS); Medical Assistant Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine technical services in back and/or front office under physician supervision.
