Beyond-Care-Pediatrics in Omaha, NE is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our pediatric team. You will care for patients in a clinic setting, recording vital signs, assisting providers, and administering vaccines while maintaining careful documentation in the EMR.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success. You should have an active Medical Assistant license and CPR certification; 1–2 years of pediatric MA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed Medical Assistant.
• 1–2 years experience as a Pediatric Medical Assistant preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and client care skills.
• First aid/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and record vital signs, height, weight, and medical history.
• Assist providers with exams and minor procedures.
• Administer vaccines and medications as directed by the provider and within state regulations.
• Collect specimens and perform basic laboratory tests.
• Document patient information in the EMR.
• Schedule appointments, answer phones, and coordinate referrals.
• Educate parents on medications, vaccines, and follow-up care.
• Maintain exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and follow infection control protocols.
• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to infants, children, and adolescents.
