Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando is seeking a registered nurse to join our clinical team. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, design and adjust care plans, administer medications and educate patients and families on health conditions and treatments.

Qualifications

RN license required; BLS and PALS certifications required.
Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred.
English fluency in reading, speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physical, psychological, development, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans, evaluating and revising as needed.
Administer medications and treatments per orders, monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
