Job summary

Colquitt Regional Health System’s Vereen Rehabilitation Center seeks a Certified Lymphedema Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with lymphedema and related disorders, applying occupational therapy expertise to improve daily living and QoL.

You will collaborate with PT/OT/SLP teams, help build a specialty program, and engage in community education while growing clinically within an established rehabilitation center.

Qualifications

• Current and active Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of Georgia.
• Bachelor's/Master's in Occupational Therapy or Doctorate or better in Physical Therapy or related field.
• Masters or better in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Bachelor or better in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• BLS Certification
• Strong clinical reasoning skills with a passion for patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Commitment to professional growth and advancing clinical expertise.
• Passion for working with a pediatric population.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with lymphedema, chronic edema, and related lymphatic disorders using occupational therapy expertise.
• Address functional limitations, activities of daily living, and upper-extremity involvement.
• Collaborate closely with rehabilitation and wound care teams.
• Develop and grow a specialized lymphedema therapy program.
• Develop relationships with physicians and healthcare providers throughout the community.
