MedCare Pediatric offers private duty nursing in the homes of pediatric patients across the Greater Houston area. We seek a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care on 8–12 hour shifts, full-time or part-time, ensuring children receive safe, compassionate care at home.

Qualified candidates hold a Texas LVN license, CPR certification, a valid driver’s license with insurance, and at least 6 months of pediatric home health experience.

• Current Texas LVN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and current auto liability insurance.
• Minimum of 6 months of pediatric home health experience as an LVN required.
• Provide skilled one-on-one nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes during 8–12-hour shifts.
• Care for children with serious illnesses, medical complexities, disabilities, or those recovering from injuries or extensive surgery.
• Assess patient conditions during visits, including monitoring vital signs, seizure activity, and care for gastrostomy tubes (G-tubes), tracheostomies, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilators.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and according to the plan of care.
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary care team for quality outcomes.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
