Job summary

Kinder Hearts Home Health and Hospice is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, across Abilene and surrounding Texas locations.

The role focuses on pediatric home health, with responsibilities including following the plan of care, providing treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program.
• Currently licensed as an LVN in the State of Texas.
• Possesses current CPR certification.
• Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Furnishes services in accordance with agency policies.
• Prepares clinical and progress notes.
• Assists with patient care and self-care education.
• Provides services within the agency service area as scheduled.
• Informs the Pediatric RN Supervisor of changes in patient condition.
• Orientation of co-workers and other duties as assigned.
