Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant for Pediatric Long Term Care in Mountainside, NJ. The role supports RNs with vital signs, daily living activities, and patient comfort in a fast-paced pediatric setting.

You will document care in the EHR, follow infection control protocols, and participate in plan of care from admission to discharge. The position is part-time, day shift, 5am-10am four days a week with alternating weekends and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Current NJ-licensed Certified Nursing Assistant.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Ability to work 4 days a week, 5am-10am, with every other weekend and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic nursing care.
• Take and monitor vital signs and report changes to RNs.
• Document patient information accurately in the EHR and maintain confidentiality.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety policies.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Support care plans from admission to discharge.
