Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Washington, IA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home pediatric care. This is a full-time overnight shift with an hourly rate of $34/hour. The role focuses on delivering compassionate, patient-centered nursing services in the patient’s home.

Applicants must be licensed in Iowa with current BLS, and either a TB test or chest X-ray on file. One year of professional nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN/LVN in the state of practice (IA) is required.
• Current TB test or Chest X-ray.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and document health data and nursing diagnoses.
