Day Kimball Health is seeking a Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time day shift in Plainfield, CT. The LPN will support providers in daily clinic operations, manage medications, vaccines, and patient rooms, and ensure smooth patient flow from newborns to 20-year-olds.

The role requires CT licensure, an LPN degree, and at least two years of experience in a hospital or office setting. Benefits include PTO, training reimbursements, and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Required - College Course Preferred.
• Licensed Practical Nurse Degree Required.
• Current Connecticut Licensure Required.
• Two years as Licensed Practical Nurse in hospital or office setting required.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider by documenting chief complaint and essential data (height, weight, BP).
• Maintain even distribution of patients and keep rooms stocked with supplies.
• Reinforce education and health information with parents/guardians/patients after provider consultation.
• Answer medical questions or refer to doctor or nurse practitioner as needed.
• Secure exam and lab rooms and restock supplies daily.
• Retrieve orders from Lab and X-ray as requested.
• Follow procedures related to care of patients from newborn to 20 years.
