Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse AL Only
• AL NLC Multi State
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients in a timely manner and obtain vitals.
• Administer pediatric vaccines, oral medications, and injections per physician orders.
• Perform routine diagnostic screenings and assist with specimen collection and lab processing.
• Assist pediatricians with procedures and developmental screenings.
• Educate patients and caregivers on post-vaccine care and care plans.
• Maintain vaccine log accuracy and cold-chain storage compliance.
• Document results and patient interactions in the EMR system.
• Schedule follow-up visits and coordinate care as directed.
