Job summary

A pediatric home health care provider is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses to deliver one-on-one care to children. The position offers competitive hourly pay between $20.00 and $27.00, flexible scheduling, and a variety of benefits, including a sign-on bonus and ongoing training. Candidates must hold an active Texas RN or LVN license and have current CPR certification. Experience with specific medical conditions will be advantageous but training is available.

Qualifications

• Current, active Texas RN or LVN license required.
• Current BLS CPR card required.
• Experience with G-tube, trach, vent preferred or willingness to train.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as per physician orders.
• Provide treatments including nutrition via feeding tube.
• Conduct tracheostomy care and suctioning.

Responsibilities for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs)

• Medication administration per physician orders
• Physician-ordered treatments including:
• Nutrition via feeding tube
• Tracheostomy care
• Suctioning (nasal, oral, and/or endotracheal)
• Ventilation care
• Seizure assessment and treatment

Requirements for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs)

• Current, active Texas RN or LVN license
• Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
• G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willingness to train
