Job summary

Nicklaushealth is seeking a Pediatric Interventional Radiologist to provide image-guided procedures and diagnostic radiology interpretation for a pediatric population. The role includes collaboration with physicians, APPs, nursing, anesthesia, and surgical teams, as well as teaching residents and engaging in research and publishing.

Responsibilities include clinical care, history taking, order writing, patient/parent education, and participation in the department's call schedule as required by

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Florida medical license in good standing.
• American Heart Association BLS current.

Responsibilities

• Applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions and treatment.
• Continues to self-educate through journals, CME, conferences.
• Coordinates monthly inservices for staff and residents.
• Interprets diagnostic images and documents procedures.
• Provides clinical services including exams, orders, teaching, and follow-up care.
• Suggests improvements to department leadership.
• Participates in Performance Improvement, research and publishing.
• Teaches medical students and residents.
• Participates in call schedule as outlined.
