Per Diem opportunity for an experienced, Board Certified Pediatric Intensivist in Beautiful Charleston, South Carolina

Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Board‑Certified Pediatric Intensivist to provide per diem coverage at Summerville Medical Center (SMC) just 30 minutes from Charleston!

Your Clinical Scope

• 6-bed PICU with 2 observation beds
• Level III NICU support
• Telephone consult available with quaternary care center 45 minutes away
• Inpatient pediatric floor + ER consults
• 24 hour rounding plus call from home/hotel
• Procedures include: intubations, LPs, line/chest tube placement, CPR
• 2024 Census: 373 pediatric admits, 85 PICU admits, ADC: 4.1

Subspecialty Support

• Onsite: Pediatric Surgery, GI, ENT, Anesthesia, Radiology
• Telemedicine: Pediatric Cardiology
• Actively recruiting Pediatric Neurology
