Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Pediatric Intensivist to join our growing and dynamic critical care team in sunny Southern California on a per diem basis with the potential to grow into a full time position.

About Our Critical Care Program

• 25-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• 25-bed Step-Down ICU
• 33-bed Pediatric Cardiothoracic ICU (CTICU)
• Accredited Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program
• Advanced therapies include:
  • ECMO (VA & VV)
  • CRRT
  • Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD)
• Mixed medical-surgical population, including complex congenital heart disease and single ventricle physiology

Position Overview

The Pediatric Intensivist will work closely with other intensivists, subspecialists, fellows, and advanced practice providers to provide high-quality, family-centered care to critically ill children in the PICU and potentially CTICU environments. They will be needed to help staff and maintain a PICU sedation service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the PICU and/or CTICU

Qualifications

• The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $140 - $150 per hour. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
