University of Southern California (USC) seeks a Pediatric Intensivist to join the faculty in the 24-bed PICU at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics.

The role includes in-house coverage 24/7 on a rotating basis and requires strong clinical and interpersonal skills along with a track record or potential for scholarly contributions in research, quality improvement, or education.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Pediatrics.
• Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
• Licensed (or eligible) to practice in California.
• DEA license with California address within 1 month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a 24-bed PICU at CHLA with 24/7 in-house coverage for a few days each month.
• Demonstrate impeccable clinical and interpersonal skills in a large academic hospital setting.
• Contribute to scholarly work through research, quality improvement, or education initiatives.
