Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group seeks BC/BE Pediatric Intensivists to join its Bon Secours/Mercy St. Mary’s Hospital PICU in Richmond, VA. The team currently includes five board-certified pediatric critical care physicians who provide high-quality care in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include coverage of the 10-bed PICU with a 7 ADC, 12-hour weekday blocks, and 24-hour weekend shifts, with robust subspecialty support and NICU/pediatric hospitalist services at the same facility.

Qualifications

• BC/BE Pediatric Intensivist credential required.
• Strong clinicians who work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Cover the 10-bed PICU with an ADC of 7 and shared weekly sedation coverage.
• Block scheduling with 12-hour weekday shifts and 24-hour weekend shifts.
• Join a 6-physician pediatric critical care team with in-house call and robust subspecialty support.

Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group has an exciting opportunity BC/BE pediatric intensivists to join our our current group of 5 board certified Pediatric Critical Care Providers at Bon Secours/Mercy St. Mary's Hospital. Ideal candidates will be strong clinicians who work well as part of a team, adhere to evidence-based clinical guidelines, and provide high quality care.

• 6-physician practice with inhouse call
• Block scheduling available with 12 hour shifts M-F and 24 hour shifts on weekends
• Responsibilities include covering the 10-bed PICU with an ADC of 7, shared coverage of two day per week sedation program
• Robust sub-specialty support available, including Peds GI, Endocrinology, Surgery, Pulmonology, Neurology, Infectious Disease, Orthopedics and Urology
• Pediatrix also provides NICU and pediatric hospitalist services at St. Mary's Hospital.
• Physicians will be part of a comprehensive care team of pediatric critical care specialists and pediatric hospitalists.
