Job summary

Nemours Children’s Health - Florida is seeking a full-time Integrated Primary Care Psychologist to join our Behavioral Health team serving pediatric primary care clinics in Central Florida.

The psychologist will provide integrated behavioral health services across two clinics (Vero Beach and Palm Bay), collaborating with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and care coordinators to deliver brief, evidence-based interventions within the medical home.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Completion of an APA-accredited internship, and at least one year of postdoctoral experience in a child-focused setting.
• Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Florida.
• Experience or strong interest in integrated primary care or pediatric psychology.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide same-day consultation/warm hand-offs, assessment, and brief intervention for children and adolescents (3 through 18).
• Deliver evidence-based behavioral health services within a fast-paced primary care setting.
• Collaborate closely with pediatric providers to support whole-child health.
• Conduct comprehensive psychological and diagnostic assessments; provide feedback to families and referring providers.
• Engage in program development, quality improvement, and supervision opportunities.
