Job summary

Hartford Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses to join the Institute of Living location in Hartford, CT, providing trauma-informed care within behavioral health programs. You will perform nursing assessments, participate in treatment planning, medication management, and patient education while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a CT RN license, completion of nurse residency upon hire, and a BLS credential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Successful completion of nurse residency upon hire, if applicable.
• CT RN license required prior to starting.
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Must be able to effectively communicate information in English.

Responsibilities

• Nursing assessments, treatment planning and patient education.
• Medication management and coordination with the care team.
• Collaborate with physicians and therapists to ensure comprehensive care.
• Support trauma-informed care within behavioral health programs.
