Job summary

Intermountain Health in Lehi, UT invites a licensed Physical Therapist to join our inpatient pediatric rehabilitation team at Primary Children’s Hospital for a 30-hour-per-week salaried role, Wednesday–Friday with some weekend and holiday rotation.

You will screen, evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric injuries and conditions using therapy modalities, collaborate with care teams, educate families, and support program development.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Basic Computer skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting.
• Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record as applicable to the role and assigned work location.

Responsibilities

• Promotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, and abides by service standards.
• Provides skilled physical therapy services, staying updated on standard practices for different patient groups.
• Conducts evaluations and treatments according to professional standards (APTA) and develops care plans with specific goals.
• Meets established productivity standards for the department or service line.
• Keeps thorough and timely patient records and completes patient billing accurately and promptly.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers about patient needs and goals.
• Manages all aspects of patient care and education, including supervising staff and students.
• Participates in continuing education opportunities and quality improvement processes.
