Job summary

Medical Edge in Savannah, GA is seeking a Pediatric Infectious Diseases physician to join a growing hospital-employed practice. This full-time role offers inpatient consults and outpatient specialty care for infants, children, and adolescents within a regional network.

You will diagnose and manage complex infections, participate in antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention, and collaborate with NICU, PICU, subspecialists, pharmacy, and microbiology teams.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in Pediatric Infectious Diseases completed or in progress.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
• Eligible for Georgia medical licensure and able to obtain licensure promptly.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient consultative and outpatient pediatric infectious diseases care.
• Diagnose and manage complex pediatric infections and antimicrobial stewardship.
• Collaborate with NICU, PICU, subspecialists, pharmacy, microbiology, and infection prevention.
• Participate in quality improvement, medical education, and clinical research.
• Support comprehensive hospital-based pediatric services with family-centered care.

Key Qualifications
