Job summary

Phoenix Children's in Phoenix, AZ is seeking Pediatric Infectious Diseases physicians to join a growing division providing inpatient consult and outpatient ID care.

The successful candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric ID, participate in teaching medical students, residents and fellows, and engage in antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention and transplant programs. Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric infectious diseases.
• Commitment to patient care and trainee education.
• Academic clinical faculty title potential at University of Arizona College of Medicine; possible titles at Mayo Clinic-Scottsdale and Creighton University College of Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric ID care with subspecialty consultations and follow-up.
• Teach medical students, residents and clinical fellows; participate in rounds and conferences.
• Support antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention and transplant programs as applicable.
