Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, is recruiting a pediatric infectious diseases physician at the assistant or associate professor level. Board certified or eligible in pediatric infectious diseases, with a strong commitment to patient care.

Inpatient consultations and ambulatory referrals, plus activity in scholarly work. The division collaborates with multiple programs and centers, offering teaching for students, residents and fellows and opportunities in research and quality

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine equivalent, required.
• Graduate of an approved Fellowship program if applicable, required.
• Medical License in the State of Ohio, required.
• Unrestricted licensed physician, required.
• Board Certification or eligibility in Pediatrics, required.

Responsabilités

• Conducts inpatient and outpatient assessments for infectious diseases.
• Develops and implements patient treatment plans per protocols.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to aid diagnosis and care.
• Communicates with patients and families to provide education and support.
• Maintains accurate medical records and coordinates care with teams.
• Participates in teaching of medical students, residents and fellows.
