Job summary

The Penn State Children's Hospital in Hershey, PA, is seeking a Pediatric Infectious Disease physician to join a busy division renowned for teaching, research and state-of-the-art patient care. This full-time role includes participation in resident and medical student education and collaboration with top researchers at both University Park and Hershey campuses.

Candidates must be BC/BE in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Disease.

Qualifications

• Must be BC/BE in Pediatrics.
• Must be BC/BE in Pediatric Infectious Disease.
• Experience caring for the full range of pediatric infections including congenital and neonatal infections.
• Interest in infection control preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong track record of scholarship and commitment to education.

Responsibilities

• Join a busy division with teaching, research and patient care related to antibiotic stewardship and global health.
• Participate in resident and medical student education.
• Collaborate with clinicians and researchers across campuses.
• Provide care in a high-level pediatric infectious disease program with strong academic emphasis.
